- Quick links for Chorus applications such as ESS, Sandwai, Trello, Cirrus, My Aged Care, SOLV… and many more.
- Employee directory
- Document library (which is under construction but will eventually house all key documents at Chorus)
- Live Yammer feed
- Marketing resources (including logos)
- And lots more!

For volunteers, you will continue to receive the monthly Chorus Lines newsletter and communication from the Volunteering Team with all important updates.
Culture Pulse Check Survey Results
Every six months we conduct a culture pulse check survey to understand how staff and volunteers are feeling about the organisation.
The most recent one was in March 2021 and the results are in.
The common themes and actions for us are:
- Lots of positive feedback on how we adapted so quickly to the pandemic
- Continue to improve communication with Chorus people out in the community
- Expand reward and recognition at Chorus
- Continue to build a culture which makes Chorus a great place to be

Volunteering Teleconference – 6 April 2020
On Monday 6 April, Dan Minchin held a teleconference for all Chorus volunteers.
The key message Dan wanted to share is, as a volunteer at Chorus we would like to invite you to make a contribution to Chorus in a different way, even if the services you volunteered in have changed. If you still want to help we would love to find a way to make that happen and keep everyone connected and engaged during this period.

Dan’s video update to customers
Dan has made a short video for customers where he outlines how we have adapted the way we deliver services. His key message is that Chorus is here to work with customers during these difficult times. Please show this video to customers or encourage them to watch it on our website and also Facebook page.
https://chorus.org.au/for-customers/
- As always, our priority is the well-being and safety of Chorus customers.
- We will continue to deliver our services, adapting them as necessary to keep Chorus people safe while continuing to meet customers’ needs.
- We have found ways to reduce physical contact. Where this is unavoidable, we’ve been diligent in tracking staff movements to reduce your risk of exposure to COVID-19.
- In line with government advice, Chorus staff don’t need to wear masks unless the person they are caring for is sick.
- We are here to help you. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
Recorded on Monday 30 March.
Mobile Personal Protective Equipment Unit
A mobile PPE unit is now visiting centralised Chorus buildings to provide necessary PPE to In Home Support Workers, Nurses, Mental Health Support Workers and Gardening and Home Maintenance.
Speak to your Leader for advice on the PPE you require for your role.
To ensure stocks are able to be replenished, anyone requiring PPE will need to sign out anything they take.

Key information for staff and volunteers
The below points relate to some recent questions:
- In line with government advice, you are not required to wear a mask or gloves unless caring for someone who is sick.
- COVID-19 testing is only available to people who meet the standard government testing criteria. Chorus does not have testing kits available.
- In compliance with government regulation, any Chorus member who has been overseas or been in contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus must self-isolate for two weeks.
- Progressively over the days and weeks ahead, we will continue to adapt our services to both keep Chorus people safe and continue to meet customer needs.
- By Monday 30 March, everyone who can do their role from home will do so. This is mainly office-based roles but not necessarily – Ryan Chapman is leading an orderly process and further details will follow.
